Our Commitment

Acornary is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your screenshots and data are yours alone. This policy explains how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data.

Data Collection

We collect zero data.

• No account creation required
• No analytics or tracking
• No server communication
• No data upload to external servers

Data Processing

All processing happens locally on your device:

• OCR uses Apple's on-device Vision framework
• Summarization is lightweight and runs entirely offline
• Search operates on a local SQLite database with FTS5

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud backup, your data syncs through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. We never see this data — it's encrypted and managed by Apple according to their privacy policies.
